My belief is that no one really knows what they believe regarding God. They only pretend to go along with what others tell them. They want someone who will give them all the answers to every detail. They don't want to acknowledge that it is actually a great mystery.
I also believe that Jesus was trying to show this fact to the Pharisees and the priests and the teachers of the law. He told them "you know not what you believe." I believe that he was trying to free these people from that kind of faith. But it is clear that they prefer the darkness.
OUTstanding! The Jewish concept was "Purity is good." Jesus' concept is that "Love is good."

He was actually only sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel...
Did you tell me in there somewhere what Jesus really meant?
I take that has you know that you are snared by your on way of interpreting things and will not admit it. Either Jesus was saying none of us are good including himself, or he meant something entirely different to your interpretation.

I'll take that to mean you have no alternate interpretation. You just like to make noise.

So you completely skirt around the question put to you(numerous times) knowing for well that what you believe about that passage doesn't make an ounce of sense to anyone open reasonably minded person,so the best you did was throw out some vague answer, then you expect me to tell you what i believe Jesus meant by "why call me good" just like that ?.
It's pretty simple...... He is saying all that is good is God, so if you see anything good, you are seeing God..... now i will leave you to your own imagination to the deeper meaning of that, if you dare just do that.

I dared.
And he opened the Windows of Heaven when I confessed.
I Love his Son and boast in him everyday. When praying without ceasing there is nothing like taking that first step.
