The Bible says a woman ought not be allowed to teach the body of believers.
This video and this post are perfect examples why they shouldn't.
(8)I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing. (9)I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, (10)but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God. (11)A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. (12)I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. (13)For Adam was formed first, then Eve. (14)And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. (15)But women will be kept safe through childbirth, if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.
1 Timothy 2:8-15
Let us not forget that it was the woman who was easily seduced by the devil and committed the first sin. Shall we thus be guided by advice from the mouth of the daughters of Eve? The Bible says no.
and that's me, hollering from the choir loft...

The OP is misandric a bit. But this is misogynistic.
Priesthood is not a men only or women only club. It is for all who are called.
The trouble arises when we start inserting political issues like third wave feminism into church matters. Anyone who wants to should be able to be a priest. But leave thre political crap outside the door.

Me?? MISANDRIC because I believe and promote TOTAL EQUALITY, no excuses?? Then so be it, I will be MISANDRIC if that means giving women the opportunity to WALK ALONG SIDE MEN and not BEHIND...
Women hear this nonsense all of the time. These are the excuses you tell yourselves about women in faith, the work place, education and everywhere else.
You should really listen to yourselves, and ask yourself this; Why am I so insecure when it comes to the power of women?
You're right. Not all men are qualified or good in the position of pastors. We're all sinners.
But some are called to be pastors -- and that is up to God.
