I'm looking for Christian books to read. Everyone recommends Joyce Meyers. I am planning to get a few, but what are some good ones besides Joyce Meyers?

Hi Nikki. Can you be a little more specific regarding what you're looking for? Are you interested in theology books, apologetics, prophecy?

I'll give you the name of a couple of good books on the chance that you might be interested in them.

One is 'The Case for the Resurrection of Jesus' by Gary Habermas. In this book Dr. Habermas presents the historical evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. You can also listen to his lectures on YouTube.

Another book is 'Reinventing Jesus' by J. Ed Komoszewski, M. James Sawyer, and Daniel Wallace. This book addresses the issue of how contemporary skeptics miss the real Jesus and mislead popular culture.

Personally, I'd stay away from Joyce Meyer. She just isn't the best, theologically. She has taught some questionable things.

What, specifically are you looking for? What topics, exactly?

I love Joyce.
My fave quote....You can be as close to God as you want to be.
It depends on how much time you want to put into it.

I'm going to be different...everyone seems to be or wants to be in
some sort of relationship.
A must read is Dr. Gary Chapman's ...'The Five Love Languages'.
I would definitely read Joel Osteen's first book...uplifting, inspired and clear.
But you must have the heart to receive it.

The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom. She actually walked the walk of a Christian.
