They had no authority granted by God to go against his ordinances.
All power is granted to Rulers to execute laws WITHIN his ordinances only. They have no power otherwise
Why would Kim heed Gods commands to to wrestle AGAINST the "rulers of darkness of this world"??

Should those employed in the "den of thieves" quit their job so there would be more thieves ripping off the people?? I think not.
What do you think our Lord thought of the few remaining honest ones within that bunch of thieves, adhering to the law, even if those without that authority dictated otherwise??
Hint- Our Lord shouted and turned over the tables. Not on the righteous but the unrighteous who had not the authority designated by him, to be doing such.
this is a good point. there are many examples of god not judging a mass to spare the few righteous. the Genesis example came immediately to mind... the story of Jonah and Nineveh also.
Now, Romans 13- Obey the Authorities, for they were established by God. If there was a law in place saying the same sex couple was recognized by the government as are heterosexual couples. then she broke civil law and further more God's direction thru Christ.. not good for a Christians to do.
Conversely if there was no law on the books about the matter at the time, then she followed her convictions and made an honest mistake- costly mistake based on unfinished understanding of what Marriage means to God (frickin humans)

Are you accusing a judge of corruption! I could not find anything on a Google search. No this us what the couple gets from Kentucky . I would be embraced to claim that I was a person who followed the Bible and ignored the 9th commandment so easiky. Do you have factual evidence that the judge took a bribe or was corrupt? If this is a false accusation any claims you make should be taken as suspect.

Rahab wrestled with the rulers of darkness of this world and she was spared her life for it, and deemed righteous. Joshua 2:25
So above Rahab adhered to the law, Gods Ordinances while "wrestling with the dark rules of the world" and it reads her life was spared while being deemed "righteous". She held up RIGHTEOUS Laws aka Gods law over that which was established without Gods authority and has no power.
There is no power to be upheld outside of Gods ordinances. Those are rulers of darkness we are to wrestle against

The judge ruled that the taxpayers have to pay the couples legal fees such as their attorney and court fees. Instead you have accused a federal judge of being corrupt and accepting bribes (or going along with that accusation from another poster).
Either way that is false accusation or false testimony against another. One is only left with the assumption that you think you are above God and his Ten Commandments. The judge did rule that if the State had taken action against Davis it would have been her not them on the hook for legal fees.
The case would of cost the State more than 220K has they would have had to pay their own lawyers as well.it is common knowledge that a government violating a citizens rights illegally ends up paying at least the legal costs. As well remember the judge considers himself a devout Christian and is personally opposed to SSM but he does live up to his oath of maintaining the kaw.
Maybe her religious backers who with her believe that Christians only have to follow laws and regulations they agree with should be footing the cost, putting their money where their beliefs are.
