The spirit which is evidently alive and vocal within fundamentalist circles is the one that has a form of godliness that denies the power.

Which is an odd statement from someone who routinely denies the power. Peace

This claim is derived entirely from later Christian traditions. In other words, unverifiable stories invented by Christians. Paul was a Roman citizen, and as such was not subject to crucifixion. And so the tradition is that he was beheaded. This claim is based on no actual historical record however. Of the original 12 apostles (of which Paul was not one), Judas is reported to have committed suicide, and James the brother of John was executed by Herod Agrippa. James the brother of Jesus (also not an original apostle) is reported in Josephus to have been thrown off of the temple to his death. The final end of none of the other apostles, including Paul, was actually recorded.

9:22 Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness: in fact, ancient Israel did envisage other means of obtaining forgiveness; the Old Testament mentions contrition of heart (Ps 51:17), fasting (Jl 2:12), and almsgiving (Sir 3:29). The author is limiting his horizon to the sacrificial cult, which did always involve the shedding of blood for its expiatory and unitive value.

Paul came up claim that Jesus’ crucifixion was necessary to appease God for sins committed against him. Or was it a more acceptable explanation that Jesus was crucified for man's sins rather than executed as an insurrectionist against Rome?

Is demanding a blood sacrifice really the act of a supposedly humane, rational, and merciful God?
Do you eat meat?

Why is it that Christians seem to think that they are the only ones who have been persecuted?

Beheading was used as a form of capital punishment for millennia.
Yet, you believe that it only relates to that of being a Christian?

You appear to idolize the thought of being persecuted.
But something tells me, it's a persecution complex.

Irrational and obsessive in nature.

Did Wikipedia tell you that? The hard left rewrites history for their agenda, just as they claim Sodom & Gomorrah were destroyed because of inhospitality.

What was Paul's crime? Standing for the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ; that is the antichrist spirit that is so prevalent nowadays. When the hard left takes full control on the world stage, they will want Christians dead because we interfere with their antichrist society. Make no mistake about it: the hard left is vicious and waiting for their time to kill, steal and destroy.

If you have actual historical evidence for the deaths of the apostles, other than those I named, please present it.

Paul journeyed to Rome to stand trial for the rather insignificant offence of disturbing the peace. Hardly an offence that would cause him to have his head cut off. At the end of Acts Paul was living in Rome under house arrest. Another tradition has Paul, acquitted of the charges in Rome, traveling to Spain to spread the Gospel.

How ironic. You aren't aware that Saul/Paul had never met the Rabbi & admits in the NT that he was completely ignorant of his teachings?
So where did he get this 'Word of God' from? Hang on a minute ........ you don't think that he just filled in the blank pages with his own ideas that were heavily influenced by Paganism?

Saul/Paul does unashamedly confess to lying to 'further Gods glory' Jesus didn't know him. The Rabbis students were appalled at the nonsense that he was sprouting.

The facts are there but Christians wont even believe the very book that they claim is 'Divinely inspired', who use the 'faith' excuse to willfully ignore the blatant evidence that's right under their very noses.
