Well, no. You can't believe what you just can't believe. You can't DECIDE to believe something. You either believe it or you don't.

But you CAN decide how to move forward in your life. You can make a choice as to how you connect with others. You can make a choice to change yourself.

You are anti-Bible.
So why do you keep making false statements about what we believe? We've corrected you on it multiple times and you keep making the statements. It really communicates the idea that you intend to lie about us.

There is a difference between believing and knowing.

For example imagine a fictional character saying, "I don't believe what traditional Christians believe, but I know that they are evil people."

Jimmie was incorrectly trying to say that the Bible (which teaches the good things you seem to oppose) was the equivalent of what Christianity teaches. Now you are saying that you agree with the core message of the Bible?

Make up your mind.

I've said I support them. I do not oppose them. I've told you that. My only conclusion is that you are intentionally lying about me. That's not nice. You apparently don't want to do the good things the Bible commands, such as "Do not bear false witness".

Again. Just read Matthew 28:18-20. Look at what Jesus is commanding.

Read what the apostles did in the book of Acts. Of course they helped the poor, and of course we should do that.

Have you read Ephesians 2:8-9? By grace we're saved through faith.....but in v. 10 it says we are saved to do good works which God planned out for us.

Default Rejecting the core message of the Bible

The religions have corrupted Christ's message of love and reconciliation by instituting dogmas that must be believed for anyone to be saved. This places the individual in charge of their salvation. That is NOT what Jesus did. Jesus saved us ALL and told us how to follow him by loving God and each other every day and repenting when we don't. Our task is to believe Him (NOT believe a bunch of "precepts and doctrines of men") and have Faith in Jesus that He did what He said He did (NOT put your Faith in a bunch of "precepts and doctrines of men").

You are wrong about what I believe and what my church teaches. We teach that Jesus died for our sins, to reunite us to God. When we understand that, repent and believe in His redemptive work, we are saved for eternity. Then, we should regularly worship, study scripture, pray, strive to live uprightly and use our talents to serve God.

Amazing, isn't it? Crazy how people accuse us of ignoring the Words of the Bible, then turn around and lie about what we say.
