It is also the Nations, religious systems (false) and people individually.
If Jesus is our example then it was the religious world system that was against him and it was that which he spoke out against and for us to beware of.

How can you say that Jesus is our example when you don't even believe the Holy Scriptures that declared Him as being the One? You can't have Jesus without the Holy Scriptures; it's impossible.

In order to be so hated, persecuted and even put to death, this would mean christians would have to be saying or doing things, the secular world strongly disagrees with or does not like...

Im sorry, but the only christian groups that even come close to this would be Westboro baptist! Where I live, christians and nearly all religious people are very well respected and liked, even by the secular crowd, the cities and states they live in as well.

What are you talking about?. You portray God and the son like they are devils. I believe "according" to the scriptures, that Jesus Christ is the exact representation of all that God is. He represented the nature and character of our heavenly Father to perfection, it's about time you started viewing All that God is through the son, and drop this warmongering hateful tribal savage of a God you worship. Repent!

The "holy Scriptures" don't make Jesus our example---HE gives meaning to Scripture.

And one thing for sure. He vehemently disagreed with the most religious of His day--telling them that they were wrong to look at the OT LAW and interpret it as being literal as fundamentalists still do today.

Instead we REINTERPRET Scripture based on the love Jesus puts in our hearts. You must struggle with God to escape fundamentalism. And that can only be done with love as your primary understanding of Jesus--not punishment and not the sin of others.

You follow diligently the "words of God" in the Bible, when you should be following the Word of God in Jesus.

Warden, I’ll stick with the Jesus foretold by the prophets, portrayed in the gospels, and preached by the Apostles. No need to “reinterpret” their words, since they all agree. Jesus came in Truth & Grace.

But a fundamentalist cannot comprehend the existence of his errors, when too deeply immersed in them.

He's right on. We need more people like him speaking truth.

Evolution is not only a friend of the World but Satan himself. Anyone who believes in Evilution try to invalidate God’s written Word, Genesis.

Didn't Jesus love his enemies? So then Jesus loved the world. So then Jesus was an enemy of Paul's "god".
