What does the Bible say about Pre-universe? In other words, what does the Bible say as to what God was doing before he created the Universe? After all, God has No beginning at all, so there must have been a mind-staggeringly infinite amount of time before he created the Universe, yes? So in that infinite amount of time, was he doing nothing at all?? What does the Bible say?
Good question but might I ask where in the bible it mentions God creating the universe?
But on the infinity question - does anyone actually understand how long infinity is? If God has existed for an infinity then one must realize that it would be impossible for God to have created (let's keep it biblical), the heavens and the earth.

The Bible is silent on what God was doing before He created the Universe. And you can't equate 'time' with 'eternity.' Time as we know it is a property that exists along with space. Before the creation of space there was no time. That God existed prior to the creation of the Universe and brought it into existence is all that the Bible really tells us about the matter. So ideas about what God was doing before the Universe came into existence is simply speculation.

Genesis is God's accounting of what took place at creation.
The Bible is silent because God choose not to reveal such.
There is a verse that speaks of Gods 'other flocks' he must tend to as well.
More than likely God has ALWAYS been creating, the vastly different types of lifeforms on this planet alone thru its history is proof that our god is very creative (dinosaurs, wooly mammoths, etc etc).
Most people do not understand the 'no time' thing, where God exists, its not a REALLY long time, its NO time at all. It does not feel like a billion years or 3 seconds, its something else entirely.

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit had perfect unity and fellowship in and of themselves. They existed eternally, and had no need of anything. God did not create the universe in order to fulfill his need. God had all he wanted.

As you say, there was no time before the Universe was created. Any action is something that occurs in time. So with no time, God couldn't DO anything. IMO that's why He had to create the universe.

The bible has a hard enough time getting the sun and light in the right order.
