You wouldn't know anything about what Jesus said if it wasn't for the fact that some of what He said and did was recorded in the Bible by the Biblical writers.

Hebrews 12:2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

AND I wouldn't be able to confirm what was actually consistent with the message if I were not aware of the nature of that Spirit taught by Jesus. What's your point?

Yes, indeed, "looking to" for example and inspiration IN our walk. NOT as an end in itself as mere religion would have it.

Look to Jesus for eternal salvation without whom there would be no eternal salvation.

You're basically saying that anyone who doesn't agree with you about something the Bible says hasn't encountered the Holy Spirit.

I've got news for you. Five different people could claim that the Holy Spirit led them to believe something about something in the Bible, and all five could be in disagreement with each other.

The Biblical writers were led, not dictated to, and not by means of automatic writing, but were led, inspired to write what they wrote and it's all inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is truthful in all that it conveys, not necessarily in a literal historical sense, but theologically speaking. That includes both the good and the bad.

He said the "son of man". If he was just talking about himself couldn't he have made that a little more clear? According to the flood account in Genesis there are many sons and daughters of man. Isn't that just a term for the working (servant) class?
