The comment wasn't about religion itself, rather the ideology of HELL which is a fabrication of men to create fear, conformity and control, along with calling yourself a SINNER in the hands of an angry God?
Let's define hell. I believe some people on this side of life AND the other are in 'hell' now(not forever of course). A hell of their own making. The rich man and Lazarus...why did the rich man only ask for a single drop of water to quench his thirst? When we stand in the presence of the Lamb...it is Heaven for some and hell for others...the Love is the same for both however.

I can visualize that, for some will be weeping and gnashing their teeth because of what they believed.
In my opinion, the mention of hell fires being SPECIFICALLY prepared for the devil and his angels, are very significant.
Why would an all powerful God (who can create anything with the snap of his finger)...why would be send human souls to a place that was created specifically for the devil and his angels? God could just create another place, specifically for human souls.
It would make logical sense too, because human souls DO NOT become 'angels' upon death...so human souls and angels are two entirely different types of creatures, if the pit was created for these fallen angels...it may not even be 'applicable' to human souls at all?

The radiant glory (fire) of his holiness is that of his boundless love for ALL Humanity.
According to the Bible, all Non-christians will be sent to Eternal Torture in Fire. But what if a Non- christian has been law-abiding and charitable all his life. Will he be tortured just as much in the fire as Evil-doers?
I'm sure that everybody will agree that murder is the most evil deed of all. So don't you feel that murderers should receive far greater punishment in Hell than others?
The point is that there are crimes and atrocities that are much more evil and heinous than others. Let's say, what if someone was just a pathological Liar, will his punishment in Hell be just as agonizing as all other offenses? Many Christians believe so.
And what about prostitutes and Gamblers and husbands who cheat on their wives? Will they receive just as much punishment, just as much torture in Hell as other offenses? Many Christians believe so.
It's different here on Earth where evildoers receive punishment in different degrees according to the individual severity of their crimes. Why is it reversed in Hell?
because right now you are created your own peculiar hell that you enjoyed most on earth... that you enjoy more than God or friends or family, more than any other things in this life. your hell that is right when you die will be filled with all the things you loved most... that you spent all you time thinking about that mentally you were running from or running too. Only in hell thatis right now ..there is NO God there unlesJesu comes in there fors minute to rescue you likehe has done a few times before like to Lazarus . there is not heat there or there is flame for some people... who wanted flames there so that they can accuse God of being more unfair..... , no love, no warmth only the objects that owned you and that you up raised up higher than HE IS to you....... so hell is your "heaven", and you will have created it.. your kind of heaven.. that you built in dreams and in your fears... is your world that you wanted that is without him and all the things he really is to you, in it...
now Jesus will one day at the begining of the milininum for the Just // or the end of he millinium for the unjust.... you and everyone gets kicked out of your hell.. hell.. ( you want scriptures ? you need them! ) he didn't build your hell and He didn't tell men what to do do in that space they went to hide in. Just to hide from him in!
that is what the fall of men ( adam eve and the tree of knowledge... and mankinds lack of it ) did was it created a space/ a demensional space. where men then ddin't have to let God be their helper... their teacher... and created place where God couldn't go God called it death... then he also cursed the4ir body so that they didn't live in their fears for real forever..... only men can go to there and why Jesus had to come to save Us/ you from your kind of heaven. and all the scarey things created BY BELIEVERS that only IN THAT SPACE wioth out God ,that in their minds where God can not go without invitation........
spo men built that hell...... it could have been beautiful flowers and sweetness and light..... but the clue is that Adam and Eve went and hid form him and he had never done anything but good for them.! and it only got worse from there..
but they were afraid..and fear causes people to go crazy and do things in every sort of self protection and every sort of selfish behaviors....and hell that is going on right now is full of men running and screaming in fear from things in their own minds... that may or may not be in the darkness betwen their ears.
which is why Christians have to giveup their rights to vindicate themselves.. for any reason.. that choice alone takes years for a Christian to be able to really do that.. They have to overcome their own cowardness and all their fear of man. thi take the only the bravests of men and woman will do that.. instead of running from him they will run to him, because they learned to not be afraid of him.
God did build a hell for eternals beings.. few people will see that hell.. except the eternal thinsg( powers authroties, demonic owners of every sort of wickedness ) that men have created here and there....now they will see that place.. the frogs and other kinds of mind control demons.. it was made for just stuff like that! and what people get put there will probably be only the enternal beings..( the sons of God who couldn't wait for God plan to befulfilled so that they could marry women ) all such .. that knew the truth and walked away and did thier own thing in thier own darkness .. and not trusting Father to know what the wantedand what they neededand for him to make away for it to happen in his time.. They could't wait... For God's "perfect" to come.
Every scripture of hell is depicting the outer court, and there is still salvation in the court as we are told.
The works of ALL MEN will be tested by fire BUT TAKE NOTE, EVEN THE ONES WHO BURN AND WATCH THEIR WORK BURN ARE STILL SAVED, STILL SAVED.
The depiction of hell is just comparing the least of the kingdom with the greatest, God is not going to punish anyone for eternity, he is showing salvation but not salvation with an immortal body full of power, he is comparing a human who remains human instead of becoming a powerful immortal and the difference between the two is so vast that we are given the picture of eternal torment because we had a chance to become immortal but we remained flesh, and doomed to live again so flesh instead of immortality.
All Gentile Christian's who have not become Israel, they stand in the outer court, hell, but they ARE STILL SAVED AND WILL LIVE AGAIN.

I find there is a BIG difference between the Bible's hell and the religious-myth hell often taught as being Scripture.
The Bible's hell is simply mankind's temporary stone-cold grave for the sleeping dead.
This is why Jesus taught 'sleep ' in death - John 11:11-14.
Jesus was well educated in the old Hebrew Scriptures which also teach ' sleep in death '.
Such as -> Psalms 6:5; 13:3; 115:17; Isaiah 38:18; Ecclesiastes 9:5
Biblical hell comes to a final end as per Rev. 20:13-14
After everyone in biblical hell is ' delivered up ' ( that means resurrected out of hell /grave) then emptied-out hell is cast vacant into that symbolic ' second death ' for vacated hell.
When KJV translated the word Gehenna into English as hell fire that put flames in hell.
Gehenna was just a garbage pit outside of Jerusalem where things were destroyed forever.
So, it is No wonder that Psalm 92:7 says that the wicked will be ' destroyed forever '.
We have the choice found at 2nd Peter 3:9 to 'repent ' if we don't want to ' perish ' ( be destroyed ).

What is described at Luke chapter 16 is an illustration ( a story and Not a real setting ).
The future holds:
Heaven for some ( Rev. 2:10; 5:9-10; 20:6 )
Earth for most ( John 3:13; Psalm 37:9-11; Matthew 5:5 )
Destruction for the wicked ( Psalm 92:7; Psalm 104:35; Psalm 145:20 )
