Just that ... the guy I gave money to, the guy I didn't give money to...my family member
I was nice to, the family member I was not patient with ...every person I have encountered...
now in my Life Review on the Other Side....then morphing, transforming into a smiling Jesus
winking at me!
Wow, Did that ever change my perspective on life and people!

In other words: I am basically faced with God in everyone everyday!

It just really hit me...you know, when ya get those 'moments'?
Ya really 'get it'!
Thought I'd share with Christians....(naturally, I'm not talking to the scoffers...just pass on by...)

I think that's great and know it to be true. We indeed entertain angels without even knowing it.
One question though, if one of these people you encounter takes your money or harms you, is it revenge or forgiveness that will be your response? I think in one way or another each christian ends up going through what Job went though. We all are tested.

Matt 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have
done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.- KJV

Thank you for the exact verses 101C.
I mean, I know this...but gee whiz...to have this image or vision in my mind's eye...
I will be keeping this in the forefront of my mind...I practice thought control, so won't be hard.
(I have always thought of God as The Great Shape-shifter.)

For 40 years one of my favorite stories
has been the man cooking chapatis over a fire (flatbread)...a dog comes and runs away with it.
The man runs after the dog saying, "Lord, Lord, it is too dry, you forgot the ghee!" (butter)

Les Misérables, Victor Hugo...the thief brought back to the man he just stole from...Ah, thank you officer...he forgot the candle sticks...

Wish I’d seen this thread yesterday morning. I needed the reminder. Then again, I’m sure I need it today, too.

That's correct , God feed us with his Word/scriptures. Good keep up the good work and keep your HEAD above the mess.

and yes, we're in his image, ..... he shape us Spiritually. taken from an old wives tale, for an analogy, "if they are not your children, feed them long enough, they will start to look like you"...... (smile). old, but true. stay in the Scriptures, be blessed.

Romans 8:26 "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:27 "And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:29 "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed (SHAPED, there's your word) to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Romans 8:30 "Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Romans 8:31 "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? ...

This is truly following Christ in my opinion. Seeing God in everyone. Seeing the good in everyone.

The conservative church people are wrong because they only see him in certain people.

The atheists are wrong because they only see good in certain people.

It seems easier to keep this image in my mind's eye since it happened to me...but also because of the computer age we live in with those special effects of a person transforming into someone else.
I wonder if i should continue and keep telling stories...I am on another forum where we give 'testimonials' of remarkable things.
And we could all pitch in?

There is a story about Prahlad, a prince in India that his father did not like, some jealousy there, ya know...families! Ha!
SO, the King sets a building on fire with Prahlad inside! But, Prahlad asks God to save him.
There in the fire Prahlad sees a fly walking easily on a red hot pillar.
This was his sign from God to be able to walk out without any injury to everyone's amazement.

Why am I telling that story? It's a lead in..

So I am on this huge plane 375 people from NY to TX...about 5 yrs ago..when I spot this fly! Trapped! On the back of a head rest many seats ahead, buzzing around.
I close my eyes and talk to his little heart, "Don't worry...when we leave...you just follow me out the door to safety and you'll be free."
Maybe it was 4-6 seconds later, my eyes still closed, and with all those people there he flies back and lands on
the tip of my nose.
Was I surprised?..No...this is my life.
