That's true, however the Temple is supposed to be built according to prophecy before the end is supposed to happen. Israel just celebrated its 70 years, the Bibles definition of a generation is 70 years.

Just a side note, if any Christian really believes there is a literal third Temple, they are saying that they are not the Temple........Nobody can build a temple, and the reason nobody can build a Temple is from the fact that nobody knows what the measurements of the temple are to be, and you can't build a temple without measurements and because we don't know the measurements, it was all to prove an expanding temple.....Ezekiel changed the length of a cubit and now the Jewish nation waits upon Messiah to come and tell them the measurements because of Ezekiel's temple, and we claim that Jesus built that Temple of Ezekiel, maybe Christians who don't know Temple designs, don't know that we are that spiritual temple..
The Temple laws, the laws of holy days, the sacrificial laws, and even the furniture within the temple has changed in Ezekiel's temple, and it is not a temple that can ever be built because of the impossible spiritual things that are to take place...Ezekiel speaks about a river coming out of the Temple of Ezekiel, and this water was Jesus that when you believe in a Messiah, it is a river of life running through you and out of you, and this water has a mind of it's own to refresh other waters or to curse them wherever they are found.
This water purifies the seas and there are fishermen set in place to dry their nets where they catch all the creatures of this sea, and that was the first thing Jesus came to do, he made fishers of men.
The last days are upon us. The Jews are preparing for the rebuilding of the third Temple as it's written in the Scriptures.

You do know that the Jews have to build the Temple for the Anti-Christ to come and slaughter a pig on the newly built alters don't ya?
Supposedly, this greatly inspired Hero of the law and Judaism is going to convince the Jews that he is the Messiah when suddenly he shows himself as lawless where he will supposedly sit on his own throne in the Temple the Jews built, this Anti-Christ that all Jews will love, and suddenly he will proclaim himself to be God by sitting on the Throne he builds inside the Temple.
This is the crazy roaming around in Christians heads, it is what many believe and so if a Messiah comes, he must be the Anti-Messiah, and of course, he will show himself to be lawful right up unto the point that he isn't.
As crazy as that sounds to a Jew, many Christians think anti-Christ comes to build the Temple. They CAN"T be the ones who follow a lawless pagan Messiah, it must be the Jews, and even if a lawless pagan Messiah came, wouldn't it be their Christian, pagan, lawless Messiah?
As if Antiochus comes to build a temple to stand against the commandments of God.
It doesn't make any sense does it? Lawless, pagan Gentile Christians want to see a lawful Messiah that comes in deceit to fool the Jews into building his temple, and then he becomes a lawless pagan Messiah?
Then Christians want to point their fingers at the Jews for their acceptance of a false, lawless, pagan Messiah?
If that is their proof, that is the Messiah they follow, a lawless, pagan Messiah?

In 1590 a Roman Catholic Jesuit priest Francisco Ribera, in his 500 page commentary on the book of Revelation, placed the events of most of the book of Revelation in a period in the future just prior to the end of the world. He claimed that the antichrist would be an individual who would not be manifested until very near the end of the world. You're right. The Temple will be rebuilt in these final days. Will it be rebuilt before or after the Rapture of the Bride? Jesus' second coming, the Rapture of His Bride, could happen at any moment. Once it happens, it will propel the world into chaos so it will accept the man of sin, the antichrist; the world and counterfeit christianity, however, will see him as God.
