Just like it says. Baptists are providing huge amounts of relief work. It's what Christians do. And I'm sure a LOT of other Christians from other denominations are, as well.

Matt 6

…3But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 5And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their reward.…

Considering I'm not a Georgia Baptist, and this wasn't written as a piece by the Georgia Baptists to make themselves look good, I'm not sure what your point is.

Our anti-Christian friends don’t want to read about the good things Christians are doing. It ruins their argument.

I've never argued churches don't help the needy. I know very many that do. I've contributed to some of their fundraisers.

By using the subject line he did, BF was being his usual self - making stuff up to pretend Christians are being persecuted and to cast aspersions on the people who don't kowtow to his little club.

You? Not sure. Perhaps you would be willing to share. Posters like you, in general though, paint the church as disfunctional.

I simply pointed out a Bible verse I found applicable. I'm honestly not very charitable but if I ever do become that way I find that scripture to be good advice.

I don't know why people are so worried about a "reputation" in front of men anyway. I found that Bible admonishment also to pass the smell test and I try to use it.
