Well, Hi, in all fairness i came back one more time ...mainly cuz someone sent me a message
that I should include here Rev 3:10.
The point I wanted to make by the thread is there is an incorrect idea about God or Jesus...that is unpopular. I get that.
I see some think of a test in different ways than I do. Ok.
I don't see any of this (us in these bodies) as any test...at all.
1 of Jesus' purposes was to
deliver us from temptation, trials, tests and trickery...testing us would be
against God's very character.
('B-but it's all over the Old testament', you say...I know...man interpreted many things
as tests and blamed God for so many natural disasters...)
There was no test saying,"Come", to Peter on the water...it was an extraordinary lesson, a demonstration of the power of faith and then, a drop of doubt.
No test to pass or fail.
"(B-but it's all the Old testament", you say...I know...man interpreted many things as tests and blamed God for so many natural disasters...)
Many probably see the Tree in the Garden story as a test...what test?
God simply said don't eat of it, period...no test. No 'test' of obedience, no
test of love or inner strength...Adam didn't obey, period. He didn't fail any test...he
was tempted, period.
Is the urge for me to gossip or not a test from God? No.
BUT, I will leave it alone...I am not tested by my Father or Jesus or the Holy Spirit...
When I drop all the nails and the hammer from the roof 3 xs...no test...I just am showing myself I need to concentrate more...and it is entertaining to Dad.
If you read this thanks for hearing a diff perspective.
