It's only "huge" if you think it's a sin, and listen to preachers. But look how much of them live. They're hardly worth listening to much of the time. Plus, they often don't practice what they preach.
The Bible isn't very detailed about it. But actions and consequences count strongly, according to "the Book". So we need to look at negatives, side effects, and consequences.
Obviously, we don't want to spread diseases. But the same goes for any disease, even non-sexual, so we need to treat that seriously.
The other consequence would obviously be unwanted pregnancy. That's one "bookend". The other is "you shall not commit murder", so abortion should be discouraged too (the other bookend). So we need to use our advances over time (condoms, birth control) to control that to the maximum.
Factoring all of that in, and avoiding such problems, we are free to enjoy life. God made us, and made sex pleasurable, so we shouldn't deny what he created.

I’m not so sure that’s how God looks at it. Having sex with someone you don’t intend to marry is sin, imo.
Hebrews 13
4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

Honestly, jimmie..your opinion doesn't determine sin. God said fornication is a sin. You're correct in recognizing that, but you don't have to say "imo". God's opinion is what matters.

You mean the opinion of long-dead, anonymous, primitive guys who - it was determined some centuries later - to be channeling a god when they wrote their pamphlets.
Identification has not always been this conclusive. Before DNA tests, the scientific community used other biological tools to identify people and determine biological relationships. These techniques, which included blood typing, serological testing, and HLA testing, were useful for many different tests (such as matching blood and tissue donors with recipients and reducing the rejection rate for transplant patients), but they were not conclusive for identification and determining biological relationships.
With the introduction of DNA testing in the late 1970s and early 1980s, scientists saw the potential for more powerful tests for identification and determination of biological relationships. Thanks to the advent of DNA testing, we can now definitively determine the identity of individuals and their biological relatives. - https://dnacenter.com/history-dna-testing/

Educate yourself a little before you speak...
Then what your seriously stupid statement was meant to convey was that the development of the science of DNA has made the study of genetics and identification much clearer and more precise.
Got it
Learn to express what you mean instead of making flat out stupid declarations.

If you want to keep your marriage-bed un-defiled, than don't commit adultery.

Don't bring other experiences into marriage, either.
