Is a book by Mark Twain that has a mysterious stranger that claims to be the nephew of Satan. The Mysterious Stranger claims the following.

"Nothing exists, save empty space. And you... and you are but a thought. "

According to Christianity, could this saying be true?

Are we only brief thoughts of God, until God decides to think of other things and we are lost forever until God imagines us again?

God—man—the world—the sun, the moon, the wilderness of stars—a dream, all a dream; they have no existence. Nothing exists save empty space—and you!”

I don't possess this book at the moment but would like to read the book in it's entirety.

I'm obsessed with the cartoon "The Adventures of Mark Twain."

I don't think so, but who knows? We're ultimately limited in the full scope of reality and the universe. Maybe this is all an illusion.

I like Twain - a lot - but I'll leave his writings for themselves, taken at face value. There's no need to start extrapolating and venturing out on tangents.

I'm sorry, did you think you were more than that? Lol...kidding.
As you may know quantum physics says we are 99.99999% empty space, also!

That's right, my friend..all a dream. A master Illusion, Maya.
I talk to people all day that actually think the table in front of them is real.
There is no such thing as matter...it's all made to look 'real'...smoke and mirrors...I was shown that at 8 years old...and
it has unfolded since then.

Now, the individualed soul, that is us...whole other subject.

Some people think this is where our pineal gland comes into play, it enables us to recognize these things, and possibly change them on a whim.
