The devastation of Hurricane Michael:

"The impacts of Hurricane Michael struck farmers in the Southeast with one of the most devastating seasons imaginable. From cotton to peanuts to vegetables, the economic damage to numerous crops has been severe.

“We are still trying to gain a better understanding of the economic impact, but estimates are in the $2-2.5 billion range,” Jeffrey Harvey of the Georgia Farm Bureau said. “Obviously, the damage to cotton, vegetables, pecans, forestry and poultry are severe and already apparent. It will take a long time for farmers to recover from this storm and, unfortunately, some may never without significant government intervention."

Judgement keeps coming:

Category 5 typhoon Yutu devastates the Northern Marianas in worst storm to hit any part of U.S. since 1935

"Typhoon Yutu’s 180 mph winds overturned cars, knocked down hundreds of power poles and left an island of thousands without a medical center and another without an airport. Buildings were reduced to haphazard piles of tin and wood; if a structure wasn’t made of concrete, one resident said, it was probably wiped out by the most powerful tropical cyclone to hit any part of the United States since 1935.

Yutu spent roughly seven hours thrashing the small islands of Saipan and Tinian, the most populous part of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, a U.S. territory, early Thursday morning local time. Residents of the islands north of Guam are accustomed to typhoons but quickly attested that this was the worst they’d seen."

Category 5 typhoon

You cannot build things so cheaply and expect them to hold up? And, then blame God for the destruction?

Now dead fish are floating ashore in Florida just like the plagues in Moses' day when God executed judgement on the wicked nation of Egypt.

"The Red Tide algae bloom that was floating offshore in recent weeks, giving Pinellas County’s beaches a bit of relief from the waves of dead fish and irritating odors in the air, has returned. Gusts of wind spun off from Hurricane Michael apparently pushed it back close to Florida’s Gulf coast shore.

John’s Pass, Madeira Beach, Redington Beach, Redington Shores and Indian Rocks Beach all had high concentrations of the algae when tested Wednesday, said Kelli Hammer Levy, director of Pinellas’ environmental management division.

"Pretty much every beach has been impacted by dead fish this morning," Levy said Thursday. "We’ve got a lot of cleanup to do today."

Every time you and others declare that God sends hurricanes as His divine judgment you reveal the dark heart within yourselves, and your desire to turn God into a divine bully, in the image of one just like you. I don't see the divine wrath in the aftermath of natural disasters. I do see Grace's footprints, left by those inspired to help those affected.

Right, God does Not send hurricanes as His divine judgement, rather man has ignored the Golden Rule and Jesus' NEW commandment found at John 13:34-35 to have the same self-sacrificing love for others as he has.
Because earth's turmoil is out of control is why God will bring to ruin those ruining Earth as per Rev. 11:18 B.
God will have Jesus step in to rid the Earth of the wicked.
The executional words from Jesus' mouth will destroy the wicked - Isaiah 11:3-4; Rev. 19:14-16.
Then Jesus, as Prince of Peace, will usher in global Peace on Earth among persons of goodwill.

It's a dangerous world. God created it that way. We can respect and be in awe of nature, even at its wildest.

All bets are off for safe living down here. Of course it's sad to have a loss of life, whatever the species. Death is the other side of birth. How long we can live is undefined. We must appreciate and preserve life as long as possible, but not let it trip us up.

Right. Because the Northern Marianas are a hotbed of sin and iniquity. Yep. When I think of a locale most deserving of God's indignation and wrath, I don't think of Las Vegas or New Orleans at the height of Mardi Gras. Nope. Saipan. Those sinners got what they deserve.
