After you receive Jesus by faith, you MUST become obedient to His teachings. Faith without obedience is not the narrow road that leads to eternal life.
It would help if you taught your followers what exactly it is that you do that can be said to be obedience. They might just fall into the same ditch as you.
No. Faith is not a hallmark greeting card. The faithful are commanded to Love by Christ. He is the One that we Elect know , believe, and trust
It would help if you expounded on what loving Christ is. It is in your bible, but i am certain you will gloss over it in favor of your handed down beliefs.
What is so wrong with using the Word as elect when the Lord Himself spoke of such where the good soil is concerned.
If you've ever felt conflicted wouldn't that be more of personal matter between you and The Lord of Lights.
You have share over the yrs here how you were raised with a family that believes. Has something gone so wrong during your life that could of jeopardized such a free gift as to be an heir of adoption.
If so,
Why do you not ask for help from the Healing wings that are available in the spirit.
Some here may not have the gifts to articulate as well as yourself. Even so that doesn't mean that out of the entire assembly of the Lord that no one member of the body is unable to offer help in some way.
Life is in the blood trout dude.
The term,'' Elect,'' does not include Christians, it is a very specific term speaking of the chosen people of God, Ephraim and Judah. The elect doesn't include the world, it is a word to show us specific people pertaining to the covenant made for for Ephraim and Judah, and Christians are no longer Ephraim.
Paul using the term,'' Elect,'' is specifically about the 7000 reserved remnant of Ephraim, not Judah. Those same 7000 God told Elijah about and how they ARE the elect. Paul uses this term about Gentiles who repent of their lawlessness and paganism to convert to the religion of God as Gentiles did in the first Church. Those Gentiles only became a part of the election because they became Israel.
Gentiles stopped converting to the covenant for Ephraim and Judah when they abandoned the Jews, abandoned the ways of God, abandoned the ways of Jerusalem and then outlawed the commandments of God. The elect IS ISRAEL, IS THE JEWS, AND THE PEOPLE WHO BECOME ONE WITH THE JEWS.
The term,'' Elect,'' is showing the few, not the majority, and it certainly doesn't pertain to Gentiles who are not in God's religion .
Gentiles joined Jews, they joined the elect chosen and if somebody wants to make the claim that they are in the election, they sure better not be lawless pagans. The whole world of Christianity became lawless pagan and we were informed about this happening to the whole world so much that even the elect were almost fooled.
Fooled in lawlessness and paganism just as it states about the great apostacy where Christians would stand against everything called of God or worshipped of God as Christians do. They can't be lawless and pagan to then make an absurd claim that they are counted amongst the election who keep the religion of God.
The three elements of faith; know , believe, and trust. A group of beliefs systems or churches claim to be “Christian” and may incorporate 1 or two of these actions, but not all three.
Many say that they believe and/or trust in Jesus but rely on their own understanding and experiences of knowing Him. Easy answer to “why” they behave in this way is to read what Jesus has to say. Matthew 7:23. ‘Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
Evildoers. Are you an evildoer? What is in your life that is limiting your faith?
Faith in Jesus is essential to be save from eternal damnation.
Many equate faith and belief. They are not the same. Faith requires knowledge of who Jesus is (God) and what He has done (sacrifice). We also need to trust in Jesus and that His will be done. Thirdly, we must agree with the knowledge that we have about Jesus (Scripture).
The three elements of faith, knowledge, trust, and agreement, are the keys to salvation. All work in unison in order for you to accept and be granted the most important gift of all, eternal life. It is the most important decision in your life.
Addressing the OP only. not saying that you're right or wrong, but consider this. yes, knowledge, trust, and agreement is good, but we recomend that you must "believe" to enter the Kingdom
for Faith and belife are two diffrent animals. "belief" sets the goal, and Faith goes and get it.
scripture, Mark 16:16 "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned".
and the work of FAITH that get the goal of salvation is a growing "Faith". scripture,
2 Peter 1:5 "And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
2 Peter 1:6 "And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
2 Peter 1:7 "And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
2 Peter 1:8 "For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 1:9 "But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. (READ THAT VERSE AGAIN)
2 Peter 1:10 "Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
2 Peter 1:11 "For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
see the work of FAITH achieve the goal of what you believe, because we're saved by hope in what we believe.
Romans 8:24 "For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Romans 8:25 "But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
the Patience come when added to faith as the apostle Peter said, for hope is the FAITH that we look for,
Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". THERE IT IS.
After you receive Jesus by faith, you MUST become obedient to His teachings. Faith without obedience is not the narrow road that leads to eternal life.
There is no love without forgiveness, and no forgiveness without love; for what power has love, but that of forgiveness.
There is no love without forgiveness, and no forgiveness
without love; for what power has love, but that of forgiveness.
You better go over to my new thread then!
