We have an entire generation that has grown up with non stop exposure to violent/demonic TV shows/movies, violent music/rap, violent politicians, violent video games, normalized demonic activity, abortion, and we keep bringing people into our country that come from extremely violent cultures. If this is not a recipe for disaster I don't know what is.
The Bible commands us to stay away from these things because they will have a long term affect on how we live our lives. Just living among these influences is like being exposed to highly radioactive waste and not expecting it to follow you home and poison your entire existence. In the OT God did not want his people to live among the heathens because he knew their evil ways would influence His people. We now have no choice but to live among the unsaved but we must protect our minds from being poisoned.
I was very disappointed when some denominations gave their approval of the Harry Potter demon handbook. It may look innocent but it is the devils playground and we should not have that trash in our homes. I know for a fact demons exist, I have witnessed 2 exorcisms and there is nothing in my life that has ever come close to shocking me to my core like those experiences did. If you ever get to see one in person you will never be the same afterward.
We have a rare opportunity with the younger generation that is desperately seeking solutions to the violent world they are living in. The anti-God public school system is accelerating the destruction of their minds with their liberal garbage indoctrination. They must somehow be told how drastically our society has drifted from the Godly influence that kept us sane for most of our existence. The Bible says " My people perish for lack of knowledge". If we don't tell them who will?
I find Christians are the ones who 'do' tell. Tell according to following Jesus' instructions found at Matthew 24:14; Acts 1:8.
So, it is Not that scriptural knowledge is Not available, but that people don't want it.
So, it is a international warning work. A warning work as Noah did before the Flood - 2nd Peter 2:5.
Scriptures teaches those who are like the ones described at 2nd Timothy 3:1-5,13 are getting beyond repentance.
That is why we will see divine involvement into mankind's affairs through Jesus as per Isaiah 11:3-4; Rev. 19:14-16.

Yup! devils influence as mentioned at Revelation 12:9,12 bringing ' woe ' to Earth's inhabitants.
Back in NYC in the middle 60's I said to one student atheist person if you don't like it here (USA) then leave it.
He said "No" that he was going to stay here by making it better.
'Better' in his mind was teaching the socialist teachings of Columbia University (Frankfort school)
So, if people like him started teaching in the 70's look how much damage they have done to young minds over the decades.
That gradual indoctrination ( now No longer schools, but indoctrination centers for young minds ) .
Nationalism, I suppose, will be the next religion....... Please, Come Lord Jesus ! - Rev. 22:20

How does one stamp out the bad 'seed-like' people as described at 2nd Timothy 3:1-5,13 going from bad to worse.
I think 2nd Timothy chapter 3 does expose them because there it described the selfish distorted form of love the world now displays. That is in sharp contrast to the godly definition of love as defined at 1st Cor. 13:4-6.

Guns don’t get possessed by demons and hunt people down. People kill people. Disarming more good guys is not a solution. Last I recall people kill people in every country. Are you advocating against rental trucks as well?

now last week in
Birmingham Alabama a masked gunman went into a mchdonalds and started firing
and a legally armed citizen put his kids out the door .. and came back and shot killed the shooter and the Mcdonalds employeees called him their Hero!

good luck taking away the guns from the real problem, sinners !
the righteous do not need their guns taken away ever!
the righteous are our protection!

there is a saying around police men that says the only thing that can stop a bad man with a gun is a good man with a gun.!

I say one other thing can stop a bad man .. but there are not many Elijah's around today !

I'm an atheist and I'm not miserable. Why do you feel the need to insult people?

I love you Trout just the way you are. It has never once crossed my mind that you or many other believers (I don't say all because Jimmiej) would be better off seeing it my way.

Nobody is talking about "disarming" except the right-wing whackjobs in their bunkers, armed to the teeth, or those they've frightened into believing the government is their enemy. Sad to see you among them. I own guns and have for 50 years. Millions of Canadians own guns. They are mostly used to kill game to augment freezers in winter, not people in public places going about their lives.

I generally stay out of these gun debates since as a Christian, I see no need for a gun. But gun laws are philosophically bankrupt since they have no effect on non-law-abiding people. The problem people are NOT the law-abiding ones. Christians should generally be ready to accept death as a cost of defending their loved ones which precludes any need for a gun, IMO only.
