Well, maybe it was three days. Which gospel do you base this on? If YOU have read your bible, you would know the gospels are not consistent on this. You know that, right? Well, do you?
Please read the Apostles creed that lays out the basic Christian beliefs. Jesus died, descended into hell ( this is the afterlife not the eternal hell), rose on the third day.

If Jesus was only dead for a few minutes it would be hard for anyone to believe he had really died. He was buried for three days, long enough for everyone to think he would not be back.

Meanwhile, he spent a couple of days playing Bingo in heaven and then trundled back to earth to "resurrect" what had never been dead in the first place.

Makes complete sense.

You know, you didn't answer my question. WHICH gospel are you using for the 3 days? The gospels are NOT consistent on this. WHICH GOSPEL? It's an easy question.

Jesus was opening the gates of heaven for those who died in solidarity with God like Abraham, Moses, all the ancient prophets, and all the Holy people.

If you think Jesus was in heaven then you have to agree he was dead. LOL

So, the gospel of John is wrong, is that what you are saying?

From the Catholic Apostles' Creed:

"He descended into hell."

Former Catholic Altar Boy FAIL

If he was also a god-thing, he couldn't die.

It was being asked to swallow that nonsense that led this altar boy away from Catholicism and Christianity.

Which was a huge WIN.
