Why is it that it is Feast of Tabernacles (six months away) whereas it is only the Passover Festival?

It correct - Passover Festival was in the Jewish month of Elul and the Feast of Tabernacles was on Tishri 15-21.

Passover Festival during Jesus' crucifixion occurred in the Jewish month of Av (August 17). The following day, it is Elul 1 (August 18), the high sabbath (John 19:31) mentioned in the Holy Bible is the New Moon Festival.

This was the third year of the ministry of Jesus. The second was the title of this thread (John 6:4 and John 7:2).

IMHO I see all the Gospels highlighting the life of Christ. John states this in John 20:30-31. Although I think it is great that the Feast of Passover events connect to Jesus as the Bread of Life. While the Feast of Tabernacles deals with Jesus being the Fountain of Living Waters from Jeremiah 17:13. God made this prophecy in Jeremiah to make modern Bible Criticism look foolish. For criticism teaches that John 7:53-8:11 is spurious because why stateAnd every man went to his own house. John 7:53 Forgetting it was the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles John 7:37 so no longer would Jews stay in Booths but go home. While the next 11 verses fulfilled the prophecy of Jeremiah 17:13. For compare John 7:37-39; 8:1-11 to this passage and see the NT fulfill the OT.

By the way I pretty sure the Passover could not have happen in August as it should always fall in months of March or April.

Correct, the one day festival of Passover, which preceded the seven day festival of Unleavened Bread, fell on the evening and beginning of the 14th day of the first month of Abib and ended at sunset, which was the beginning of the 15th day, which was the first of the seven day festival of Unleavened Bread.

There is no Abib as the first month of the year. It is Nisan as the first month of the religious year which occur on March or April. Read Exodus 12:2. Six months later, it is the Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot. That means that for six months, Jesus did not teach His followers. Is this true?

See Exodus 23: 15. And Deuteronomy 16: 1.
