That's how I see it...cuz remember we aren't puppets...we have free will.
If He were to take care of everything ...Why have creation in the first place if You're doing everything Yourself?
Children do that playing with Barbie and Gi Joe...they manipulate everything.

This Being said, Here I give you autonomy...do with it as you will.
(And God does His voyeur thing.) Why is everything 'His' fault anyway?
We have life and we make it what we make of it. No?
Why do so many people have difficulty with the idea that "We have Dominion over the Earth?"

I know that is hard to wrap your head around, sorry.
I was visited...experiencing the Divine Presence, some may call the Holy Spirit,
long before I even opened a Bible and got to know who Jesus was.
Some people need a human idea as a go-between....others just don't...it's like having a direct line
to the Father.
Another way to put it: You can ask Mom to ask Dad if you can have the car keys...or you just go to Dad yourself, is what I mean.

Either way you'll probably get the keys...so I don't have a gripe...I'm just sayin...the belief of a middle man is true for some, yes.
(Can you tell I take issue with superlatives...'always, everyone, only'..I do.)
You have to have a familial relationship with Dad to be given keys.

You just can't walk up to a stranger's house... call him Dad and get keys. Why? Because you have no relationship with that person.

To have God as your heavenly Father, people need to have Jesus Christ.

Jesus encouraged folk to believe that God is OUR Heavenly Father. You have a belief in Jesus Christ, you don't have him, if you don't understand this.

First, it is impossible NOT to have Jesus because He connected us ALL to God. Second, your attitude is exclusivist nonsense. There are no "special" people to God, period.

Tell that to my Heavenly Father...He's the One Who comes to me!

And I'm not sure what you are saying above...my Father/ Creator, the All That Is.. isn't a stranger.

Wait, If you are saying the Christ..maybe that is the common ground.
Btw, Christ, is not like a guard or gatekeeper for God.

Added: A Hindu can have direct contact with God, ya know.
Or a Jew or a Sikh...you can certainly see that in the poetry of their
very personal contact.

Superstitious, insecurity and fearfulness?

I do understand that that is why Jesus came to earth (one reason) was as a liason...because 'God' was just too abstract obviously for their brains*...
look at all the nutty stuff made up about Him.
So, as the children they were...
Jesus came as a shepherd to help them find the way back to the Father...
that's all he ever DID, that's hyberbole ok, was point to the Father.
This placed a human loving face onto God for people to be able to hold onto and relate to.
And yay! It was greatly needed.

*Like as if they could relate to their Creator as a Divine Light brighter than 10,000 suns....James, John, and Peter were graced to handle it, tho!
Or that God is within every atom of air they breathe, or the power making their hair grow at night and that He is digesting their food....that 'He' is not a gender or a human of any kind....but the Genius Creator Spirit of Universes and galaxies (with 200 billion Suns in just ours alone) and quasars....that He really is inside our minds hearing each thought (well, David got that one)....but the peasants had no CLUE as to what God was.
