5. the lofty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is polluted under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant.
6. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are found guilty:
7. therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. (Isaiah 24)
The curse will come not just or at all because of bad environmental policy, but because of sin.
What part of "no more" is escaping you my friend??

Verses such as the above remind me the bible does contain some prescience among its random bits of wisdom and nonsense.
We have not been good stewards of the Garden. And there are repercussions. We are finding out what the piper learned, though the full cost has yet to be determined.
