Rather, Jesus, as King Designate of God's Kingdom, was among them within their presence.
Then, after Jesus concludes what he says to those hate-filled Pharisees, then in verse 22 Jesus addresses his disciples.
To the disciples Jesus gives the illustrative story found at Luke 19:11-15 that the kingdom would Not immediately or instantly appear at that time frame. They were far from the coming ' time of separation ' of Matthew 25:31-33,37.
When we obey Jesus' New commandment of John 13:34-35 and follow through with Jesus' instruction of Matt. 24:14 then we might feel comfortable in thinking of being in a 'spiritual kingdom' until the literal time of Daniel 2:44 arrives.
Then, Jesus, as King of God's kingdom for a thousand years (see 1st Cor. 15:24-26) will govern from Heaven over Earth for a thousand years before Jesus hands back God's Kingdom to God.
By the end of the thousand-year reign of Christ over Earth then all the damage Satan and Adam caused will No longer exist on Earth,
Even ' enemy death ' will be No more on Earth - 1st Cor. 15:26; Isaiah 25:8.
Only humble meek people will be here to inherit the Earth - Matt. 5:5; Psalm 37:9-11.
When Jesus returns the faithful will go meet him in the air (1Thess.4:16,17).
Jesus will not set one foot on the earth again.
After his return there will be the judgment and then cometh the end (1Cor.15:24) (Jn 5:28,29).
...But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
The earth will be DISSOLVED according to (2Peter 3:10,11)
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 ¶ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved,
I am sure when the Lord dissolves something there will be nothing left.

Not a fleshly Israel, nor a national Israel but the Christian congregation .
A Spiritual Nation that is Not located on any map and has No boundaries or borders.
For it is now ' Jerusalem Above ' that is the seat of government - Galatians 4:26.
From Acts chapter 2, Iron Rome then comes down the legs and to the feet mixed with clay.
Democratic clay such as England and America.
With Iron and clay Not sticking together then the political statue is on the verge of collapse.
However, it does Not collapse on its own but the kingdom 'stone' hits and destroys it - Daniel 2:34-35.
We are Now at the time of the statue's toes, or perhaps more like being at the ' time of the toenails ' !
That's interesting.
Would you agree the kingdom (the church) was established in (Acts 2:1-4,38,47) like (Isa.2:1-5) (Dan 2:44) (Joel 2:28) (Acts 2:16,17) says?
Would you also agree that Jews and Gentiles are placed into the kingdom together as one people (Christians) (Gal.3:26-29).

Since ' Earth abides forever ' ( Ecclesiastes 1:4 B ) then what will be dissolved is earth's (people) bad works.
There is Nothing wrong with God's creation that is why God will bring to ruin those (people) ruining the Earth - Rev. 11:18 B
Jesus promised that humble meek people will inherit the Earth, so Earth would have to be here - Psalm 37:9-11.
What will be destroyed forever are the wicked according to Psalm 92:7.
I find the faithful of 1st Thess. are the resurrected ones like those of Luke 22:28-30; Daniel 7:18.
These are like the ones who have that first or earlier resurrection - Rev. 20:6; 2:10; 5:9-10.
Yes, just as Jesus is Head, Leader of the Christian congregation today but Not visibly present.
So, just as written at John 14:19 the world would see Jesus No more.
Rather, it will be the 'executional words from Jesus' mouth' that will rid the Earth of the wicked - Isaiah 11:3-4; Rev. 19:14-16.
Yes, at the coming judgement 'time of separation' on Earth (Matthew 25:31-33) these figurative humble ' sheep ' do Not have a heavenly calling but they receive a favorable judgement to continue to live on Earth.
Sound like you believe there are two kingdoms.
Jesus only established one kingdom in (Acts 2).
The church is the kingdom. (Mt.16:18)
Some were placed into the body. (1Cor.12:13)
Some were placed into the church. (Acts 2:47)
Some were placed into the kingdom (Col.1:13)
The Church / Body / Kingdom are all the same.
One kingdom (Daniel 2:44) that is God's kingdom government that we pray to come ( thy kingdom come..... ).
Jesus is King (ruler) of God's kingdom for one-thousand years according to 1st Corinthians 15:24-26.
That's interesting.
Would you agree the kingdom (the church) was established in (Acts 2:1-4,38,47) like (Isa.2:1-5) (Dan 2:44) (Joel 2:28) (Acts 2:16,17) says?

The Christian congregation was established at Pentecost.
Jews, then Samaritans, then Gentile people of the nations became part of the Christian congregation.
Thus, the Christian congregation is a 'spiritual nation' and Not located on any map - 1st Peter 2:9,5.
So, people of all nations can become part of God's spiritual nation the Christian congregation.
We are still instructed to pray for God's kingdom to come ( Daniel 2:44 ) ( thy kingdom come.....)
This is why we are all invited to pray the invitation of Rev. 22:20 for Jesus to come !
Come and be King of God's Kingdom government for a thousand years over Earth - 1st Cor. 15:24-26.
Come and undo all the damage Satan and corrupted humanity has brought upon Earth.
Come and bring ' healing ' for earth's nations as mentioned at Rev. 22:2.

Corinthians does not mention a 1000 yr reign of Christ on the earth.

Right, God's kingdom is Not part of this world ( of badness ).
God's kingdom government ( Daniel 2:44 ) is the 'coming world' of righteousness - 2 Peter 3:13.
When the wicked will be No more - Psalm 37:9-11. The wicked destroyed forever - Psalm 92:7
The executional words from Jesus' mouth will rid the Earth of the wicked - Isaiah 11:3-4; Rev. 19:14-16.
