I find Revelation 11:18, well, revealing,.."and God will bring to ruin those ruining the earth." This implies that at such time the earth would be in the process of being ruined. However, it's interesting that most Bible scholars don't view the Christian Greek Scriptures (NT) as pointing to the literal end of the earth. Rather, an end to that which ruins.

I don't think it was God's plan for the tenants to trash the earth. But I do think he has posted a notice of eviction in the Book of Revelation.

I don’t have a problem necessarily with an old earth, but death is a result of the fall of man. Any suggestion of death before the fall is not merely troubling, but catastrophic to the Christian faith (Rom 5).

Hey, jimmie. It's not troubling or catastrophic to the Christian faith, but only to a certain interpretation of the Bible. There are many Christians who have no problem with not only an old earth, but with the fact that death existed on the earth before man. And if you stop and think about it, an old earth and death go hand in hand. Since the earth is old, and since there was animal life on an old earth before man existed, then there was also death. We have the fossil remains of many forms of life from millions and even billions of years ago.

But we also have the testimony of those who were eyewitnesses of Jesus and of his resurrection. I have no difficulty with accepting the reality both of death and evolution on a very old earth and the fact that Jesus is who he claimed to be and that he died for our sins and rose again.

Darwin gods are same as universalism gods. They are made up. These false god worshippers look for false teachers to bolster their false belief.

Jeremiah 8:9
The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and snared. They have rejected the word of the LORD, so what wisdom do they really have?

The kind of willingly sustained closed minded ignorance that you display concerning the reality of the earth we live on is something that I have a problem with.

Then we both agree. You have a problem with your Darwin god religion.

I said the kind of ignorance that YOU display. The belief in a young earth, six day creation just makes Christians look stupid and uneducated.

Yes, I believe in a 6 Day Creation because God said as much.

There many Non Christian scientists that do not believe in Darwinism. Clearly, they are not uneducated nor stupid. Your secular tool to demean your naysayer by calling them “stupid” and “uneducated” fails.

Darwin god fallacy is not an intellectual battle as there is no evidence to support this humanistic ideal. This is part of the ongoing spiritual war in which you selected the wrong side

I agree. I don't believe it has anything to do with a god though. You just can't abuse your living space and disrespect nature and the land and not have to pay the consequences for it. I think we are all in for a very rude awakening.

No, the writer of Genesis said so. But the Genesis creation story was simply a story designed to attack the creation stories of Israel's ancient Near East neighbors. It's not literal.

I didn't say 'Darwinism.' I said that belief in a young earth six day creation makes Christians look stupid and uneducated. And it does.

There is abundant evidence of evolution. Denying that is just silly.
