He is saying God did not DEMAND it but accepted it as unavoidable given the savage ignorance and brutality ("sins") of our ancestors at the time.

That you can love a God who would demand such a thing is beyond my understanding, Jimmie!

Do you think that you can possibly let him answer for himself?

I believe the Scriptures express the inevitable events that would take place, which men twisted into their own ideologies (beliefs) of a blood sacrifice to cover their SINS. An Old Covenant, that was put into a new wrapper; a lamb to be slain by oppression and human judgment.

The disciples accepted Jesus as He was into the ship (Mark 4:36).

God has said to us that His name is "I AM WHO I AM." (Exodus 3:14).

He is Almighty God (Revelation 19:6).

He offers salvation to all men (John 3:16).

I keep it simple.

As a kid my grandmother who was a devout Faith-filled person often said: Darling there is a heaven and we shall go there. ( She was soo STERN when she said it. Such conviction!)

I said How do you know?

And she said: Because in this life we are put thru H3LL.

I thought what an awfull perception to have of life!

Then I walked that path, endured the challenges and sin-filled existance. For sure, this life I walked was in H3ll at times.

So while I don't think God sits on a cloud and casts locusts at folks or tells folks to slaughter their first born child to show "LOYALTY" to him. I definitely have to concede heaven is the only place left I haven't gone. Its on my bucket list to make it there

My soul doesn't have a Denomination stamped on it. Nor do I think its necessary that one particular faith has the Get out of jail card free to be in a heavenly place.

Those who have not received forgiveness through the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross shall surely go to hell for all of eternity.

I see that God gives salvation to all men. I reject your interpretation of a Godfather offer, OR ELSE! You can continue to promote your Godfather. I will promote our loving Father God.

How can Jesus who forgave us for His horrendous scourging and crucifixion because we knew not what we did be the same Jesus who would condemn ANYONE to eternal Hell for ANY reason????

That's your belief and you're entitled to it. That doesn't make it fact however.
