You define a believer as someone who believes the Bible is the inerrant and infallible word of God. We define a believer as someone who believes Jesus Christ is the Word of God Incarnate who has revealed unambiguously God's True Nature by His Holy Spirit of agape love and forgiveness on the Cross. Frankly, to me, the second definition sounds more like a Christian and believer in Christ.
At least as far as the image of Jesus you have in your mind reflects the real Jesus, right?

No, BF, you keep saying that but it is the descriptions and unambiguous demonstration of God's True Nature and Holy Spirit of agape love and forgiveness as revealed by Jesus Christ on the Cross. Jesus on the Cross defines Christ for a Christian, NOT the beliefs of our ancient ancestors as recorded in the Bible if they conflict with God as revealed by Jesus on the Cross.
It is the holy scriptures that define Christ for the true believer in Jesus Christ.
I don't think many will take wisdom about the use and meaning of scripture from a guy who reads Revelations 13 to say that the fellow living on Pennsylvania Avenue is really the antichrist who wants to force the mark of the beast upon you with fake vaccines.

Even though it isn't beyond the realm of possibility that any President of the United States could be the Antichrist?
Those who penned the holy scriptures were tested by the early church and found to be true apostles (Revelation 2:2).
If the tree is good, the fruit (the holy scriptures that were penned) is also good (Matthew 7:15-20).
You are retaining the erroneous beliefs about a wrathful God of those who decided that the scriptures were correctly interpreted, JBF. It is lazy and deceitful to pass them off as tested when we have the unambiguous descriptions and demonstration of God's Holy Spirit of agape love and forgiveness directly from Jesus Himself to make sure they are correctly interpreted. Scriptures that are not compatible with God's Holy Spirit are NOT holy!
