I just want to point out that I recently bought two statues for my gardens (which are pretty extensive, so two statues aren't too many). I bought one of St. Francis and one of Mary, and I love them.

You are still hung up on the fact that you think everything about Christianity must be detailed out in the Bible to be valid . The Ancient Faiths do not work this way . They existed BEFORE the Bible .

Well, for starters I don't believe that Sola Scriptura is scriptural.

And secondly, I don't believe those who have "died" before us are actually dead.

Clearly those two "dead guys" weren't so dead, and could talk to Jesus, who is also God, right?
