Good news, BF! You can watch the series after all and know that the main writer is not LDS after all!

The most visible writer/director/producer is Dallas Jenkins. He is an evangelical Christian.

Well, I actually don't know if he is the main writer. I know he is most visible. Apparently this is what he does 24/7.

On YouTube Season 2, Episodes 2/3, Jenkins gives directions I think. We haven't tried them yet. He talks before and after the episodes.

I don't think it's been pointed out yet, but The Chosen can also be watched on the Angel Studios website. Here's the link. I'm not sure though if season 3 will be available on it.

Really! I had no idea. Just because he was Moses....lol.

My online pastor just today said he doesn't like most Christian movies (too preachy or amateurish) which relieved me as I felt guilty for not liking any of them either. But he admitted "Chosen" is well-done.

Btw, I feel that way about most Christian fiction too. I can't even stomach it. The exception is Jan Karon's series which actually brought me back to the faith.

For me as a follower of Christ, it makes Scripture come alive; return to Scripture. Be bold, share the love of GOD,

For GOD so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For GOD did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17

Praying for you to accept GOD'S most precious Gift.

I don't think I've ever read Christian fiction. My life in Christ has provided me with all the adventure I can handle!

It is a very shallow and weak faith that can not withstand interpretations from other views.

You're not missing much. The suggestions I get online are largely Amish romances, lol. No thanks! I think the requirements to be labeled "Christian fiction" are just to mention "God" a certain number of times.

I just watched an episode of "The Chosen" this morning with a few online folks from church. But through Zoom, so the quality was pretty awful, lol. Good thing I saw it already, directly.

I heard a Christmas edition of the birth is being produced for Season 3.
