I'm sorry, Cg81, I am not trying to take it off topic , just wanting to see how Preterist's views of these events relate to the second coming of Christ. I am in the middle ground of some prophesies already being fulfilled and some yet to be fulfilled. God bless.

No prob.. and while we're talking, what do you believe about Christ's second coming and the judgement? Past or future event?
Cg81, I believe that Jesus did come to render judgment upon the Jewish nation in A.D. 70 but I also believe that He is coming again and that judgment will be involved to a greater extent. God bless.
Now there has been alot of talk on this subject lately, and there are many points that "preterists" mention about prophecies being fulfilled where I would be in agreement, (see this post //www.city-data.com/forum/3884533-post19.html) but there is one point of which I am not in agreement...
The second coming of Jesus, when all will be judged and time shall be no more.
I believe that there is a middle ground between the "preterist view" (all prophecy has been fulfilled) and the futurist view (all prophecy has yet to be fulfilled.) For example, I believe that Jesus spoke to the disciples about the destruction of Jerusalem which happened in 70 AD, but also spoke of His return and the final judgement, which we have not seen yet.
So as not to take other threads off topic and to dwell on this point, I decided to place it in a new thread. What is the evidence, or what do preterists point to as the second coming of Christ, since they believe it has apparently already occurred?
No bashing, please! (and I'm not interested in hearing about "transcendent YOU'S or whatever ... all I'm asking about is what is asked in the thread title.)
Cg81, could you please make this a poll? I would be interested to know what the majority says....yes or no.
Well here it is... but it looks like I made it a little more complicated while I was at it!
Ok, yes, too complicated......I guess I was hoping you could ask the same question as in the name of the thread, without the "preterist" at the beginning. "Has Christ already returned?" but I see why you did what you did. We'll see what happens.
