Thank you for sharing. That's similar to what happened to me. I needed someone to love me. I also was locked in a dark closet as a punishment for fear I was about 8. When I accepted christ I was considering suicide, but he reminded me that he loved me in a way that I can't explain. I've never forgotten that night that he revealed himself to me like that. I'll love him forever. Glory to you Father.
