In the Great Commission, Jesus told the diciples to
"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned...."
There has been much discussed lately about the True Gospel... and whether or not someone is really saved....
I would like for us to look at what the Gospel Message is ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD.

Let's let the Word of God speak to us on what exactly the Gospel is...
Mark 16:14-18 (King James Version)

John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."

Ephesians 1

Galatians 2

Hebrews 12:1-2
