Thats the verse I was looking for. I might have misunderstood you, but I wasn't trying to be judgmental. I was just stating my opinion based off what I get when reading my bible. If I came across, I do apologize. God Bless! Mandy

Dear snglfml, I know the verse but don't know where it is at. I didn't think you were being judgemental, I just want to make sure that when I'm writing a truth that it comes across in love and not judgemental myself. Be blessed in Jesus.

At the time the bible was written it was thought that masturbation would "use up" semen, which was needed for procreation. It was called a "sin" because that fear was the method used to keep people from doing things. We now know that isn't true so it shouldn't be considered a sin in this day and age.

I am seeing lots of verses dealing with putting aside the physical in favor of the spiritual. No problem there. But where does the Bible say masterbation is a sin? And what must I do for penance?

Chicken: you don't need to do pennance if you have been saved by the blood of Christ. The price for your sin is paid. Case closed. Don't punish yourself.

Eeeeewwwww!! I'll pass on that one!

Masturbation is natural, and if you're fighting nature, you're going to lose the battle. I feel sorry for people who've been brainwashed into thinking masturbation is bad.
