I would like to suggest that perhaps whatever thing happened four years ago is still clearly a sore spot for you. Perhaps it would be beneficial for you to talk thru the pain and anger about whatever it was with a pastor or therapist? I'm not trying in any way to take away from your prayer life, just suggesting that sometimes a person needs more then one 'cure' to help get through a bad thing.
We have to be aware and remember that Satan is going to up his game on believers because we are in the last days. He doesn't need to up his game on non-believers......he's already got them!!!//Unquote

Day, I'm SO sorry that you're going through struggles right now, too. People can be so cruel and sometimes it actually seems intentional. The worst offenders honestly seem to be relatives. It's like being related gives someone the "all clear" to say what they want to you no matter how hurtful. Just know that you're not alone with that.
I wish there were words of comfort I could give to you that would honestly help. Just know that I am praying for you. God Bless you and hopefully HE will give you a better day today.

Thank you, I know you're just trying to help. When it happened and for two years following, I dealt with it. And all of it helped. It's not what everyone is thinking.....it does not involve a personal attack or rape.
It's the type of thing that turned my whole life upside down, and divided my family permanently. Not many people have to deal with what I've had to deal with. It's devastating, and I should have moved away.
The thing is, the relative who has brought it back has brought it to the forefront again in a very public way, and I'm now considering doing what I should have done before.....move. I don't think the stigma of this will ever go away unless we move.
I know you didn't ask for all of that info. It's just unlike any other situation that anyone could begin to imagine. I appreciate all of you so much, and the fact that I can get all of this off my chest, in some way.
We just really never know how or to what extent people are suffering or struggling. I am going to try very hard from now on to keep that in my mind.

That's very true, Huckleberry. I think he's backed off already. God is my defense, and I've put it in His hands.
DayoftheLord, Let me say first, I have some experience at spiritual warfare, and it is warfare. The word says, you must resist the devil and he will flee. To resist him means you must fight. I might suggest you research the scriptures that apply to your situation. Then begin to study those scriptures and get them in your spirit. When the battle is on you will then have the weapons you need to defeat Lucifer in Jesus name. Next, you must learn to put on the whole armour of God every day. EPHESIANS chapter 6. This armour is real in the spirit, which is where the battle takes place. You must get beyond the physical aspect of these attacks to the true cause which is in the spirit realm. I hope this helps you.
DOTL I am sorry for whatever is upsetting youir spiritual life just now, but I know your faith is very strong..and you can and will overcome this and be even stronger for it. I will pray that this trial will end soon for you..

I'm sure we will all pray for you to fight the good fight. I can't wait for Satan to end up in the lake of fire for all he does. Hold on to the fact that God will not allow you to be in a situation too difficult for you to bear but with it will give you a way of escape so you may be able to endure it.
Just keep fighting Satan, as Christ did, with God's word. I know you do but the rest of us will pray that you will feel strong and trusting as you take this journey.
