Have you trusted in God and thought he answered your prayers only to find it didn't work out after all and that maybe he didn't answer your prayers and he had something else that was better lined up for you. But even knowing that, have you ever broke down and just kind of lost if for a small period of time even though deep down you still trusted him. And after you do so, have you found it difficult to pray or read because you feel you have dissapointed him and he doesn't think you trust him like you said you did?

Yes I think most people have experienced this, I know I have. God knows what is best for us, but I did not find it difficult to pray or read the Bible after this because I know He loves me and understands when I feel discouraged, He is faithful to us even when we are not faithful to Him and He does not stop loving us.

Although I can empathize with you, I must remember that it's not up to me which sins Jesus will forgive, including lack of faith or unfaithfulness.
Because He said, He will forgive ALL of them.
I guess I'm not right or something, but once I send a prayer up for help, I really don't look in all the nooks and crannies of my life to see if He has answered it..I know he will answer all my prayers as is His will and at the right time..I may even forget what help I have asked Him for, but I recognize it when it happens.. I thank Him daily for the blessings of all my answered prayers..
PG77 you are far from worthless. God can see the big picture that we can't see. This is the Pollyana in me but I can't help it. I truly believe everything happens for a reason. Maybe He is trying to teach or show you something through this event if it keeps pulling at your heart strings. But know that you are His and will always have worth my friend.
