True, but even Christians quarrel amongst themselves about what constitutes a good fruit or a true Christian.
I mean if you don't proclaim yourself to be a Christian outright, most Christians will regard you as a bad fruit ( which is not exactly the same as judging someone on the fruit of his labour).

They can quarrel all they want, but Jesus set the example that we are to live by.
We must be born again and also be doers of the word. He said if you love me you will keep my commandments. A person should not be calling themselves a Christian if they do not keep His commandments, that is the standard that we are to look for.

He is the way, the truth, and the life, and there is no way to God the Father except through Jesus the Messiah.

Isa 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Children of darkness)

Jhn 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Act 26:18 To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. (Children of lightness)

well i don't think its 'wrong' but it can cause some real strains on a relationship, especially in a marriage where arguments about the childrens religious instruction are concerned.i do think having common beliefs makes life easier generally.
