I've had some visions in the past few weeks, and I'm stumped on what to do about them. I'm not sure why I'm being shown these things and whether or not I need to share them. So I'm going to take a poll, and if the majority wants to hear about them, then I'll post them.
Here's the thing....they are not good.
I'd really like to hear what my fellow Christians think about this, and if these visions are just for me or is God telling me to share them?
I've NEVER had visions before, and there's some scriptures in the Bible that keeps coming to mind.
Acts 2:17-18
"In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophecy."
I could just put it all out there and not ask, but I am really interested in how others feel about this sort of thing and what you would do if you started having visions or dreams. Prophecy?
I feel compelled to let you know that a few people from every denomination seem to be reporting warning dreams and visions all over the United States. My husband and I know a young married man with two children. He has told us he keeps having a waking dream in which he wakes up to find handwriting on the wall and a voice says, "America's handwriting is on the wall." Then, he is told that he is to move his family out of the city he is in. He says it really scares him and that he has never had anything supernatural in his life before. Yet, he truly believes it is the Lord. So , I hope you will share with us, DOTL. I'm beginning to wonder if the Lord is trying to tell His people something.
Day of the Lord, I would think it depends on what you're seeing. If the visions aren't personal in nature, but rather involve the church or society at large, I would think they could be warnings from the Lord - and as such, would it not be fair to share those warnings with others in the hopes that repentence might result? 1 Corinthians 14, though primarily referencing tongues, seems to indicate that it's not beneficial to the church if someone speaks in tongues while no one is available to interpret the message. Is it possible the same principle applies to visions...? Are they perhaps messages from the Lord? The same chapter also mentions that prophecy is for believers. So perhaps what you're seeing pertains to the church...?
By NO means do I want to misguide you in any way, so please don't accept what I'm saying as anything more than my own thoughts on the matter. First and foremost I would encourage you to pray for the Lord's guidance.
I would have to agree with Freedom,
But I have to add this
I would pray to God and seek His face because one thing for sure God will confirm whether it is Him or not (God) through a Rhema word, Logos, or however He choose to confirm this, He will not leave you not knowing what to do;
If you have a trusted spiritual father or person, you may want to share with them;
But trust me He will confirm what He want you to do, seek and wait on Him;
besides God won't show you anything that is not written in His word; any other vision
than this is not from Him; don't forget that the enemy will try and emulate God, and he will show you a vision also;
Not to sound redundant, but this needs serious going before God and seeking His face;
He'll let you know what to do.
And you can trust me on this one;
God Bless You

Read up on the prophets major and minor from the bible
This is not a cakewalk, a true prophet has a tremendous burden to bear;
Google what they went through and the characteristics of God's prophets; of the Bible
and if in the past few weeks you have started to experience some of these things, then this will be another indication that is God revealing these visions to you.
Also read in the OT about the lying prophets too, we have a lot of them spreading like a wildfire
(just wanted to say that I'm not saying this is you, I just want you to read about the characteristics )

Wow, that's amazing! I'm so glad you told me that....I was wondering if there were more people experiencing this spiritual movement. I'm still not sure what to do, I certainly don't want to scare people and I don't think it will change unbelievers minds if I were to post it.
I think a couple days prayer time and possibly fasting are in order. This is a tough one.
