Can anyone tell my some Bible verses that talk about God bringing you true happiness, God always making you happy in sad times, God being your drive and your passion?

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have you says the Lord, they are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope".

This is "my" verse and has God has spoken to me many times through this verse in the last four years.

These verses are encouraging too

Philippians 1

4. Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!5. Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.6. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.7. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.8. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.9. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.10. But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at last you have revived your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned before, but you lacked opportunity.11. Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.12. I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.13. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

God bless

God destroyed Babylon and its offspring for their proud assault against God. The Medes and Persians destroyed Babylon in 539 BC. Many of those lived to see the victory. The phrase about the infants is harsh because the psalmists is crying out for judgment, treat the Babylonians the way they treated us.

Here's another of my favorite Bible verses (my girlfriend hates it):

Ephesians 5:22-24
Quote:
Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.
For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

When I'm having trouble it's comforting to know He knows about it.
