So, you are saying that all the epistles are not part of the doctrine of Christ!!!???

I pray that there are not many with that mindset!

Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless, and regard the patience of our Lord salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, as also in all {his} letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as {they do} also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him {be} the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

Well HotinAZ

YOu said you will listen to Jesus...simple enough

Let's see what He said

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

So how do you plan to know what the difference in what FRUITS are if you don't JUDGE THEM?

Please tell us how you will know the difference between a true prophet and a false prophet?

The only way will be to JUDGE ...

Doesn't the Holy Spirit discern for us the difference between a true and false prophet?

In the Berean sense, yes. But in matters of the spiritual, the only One to help discern what is meant by them, is the Spirit.

I don't have to JUDGE them to tell the fruits. I can SEE them. Which goes all the way back to my previous post.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

See, it doesn't work that way, otherwise all you have is a bunch of finger pointing, like the Pharisees of Jesus day. Traps, corrupt fruit, and the righteous mentality that wasn't of God, but of themselves.
