I was just thinking, maybe Noah could have saved us a lot of trouble, if he had fudged just a little on saving "everything living by twos"...

I mean, was it really that neccessary to save mosquitoes, flies, gnats, scorpions, fire ants, killer bees, black-widow spiders, bed bugs, head lice, etc, etc?

Maybe they all just hopped aboard, without his permission...the original stowaways...?

I guess all these things have their function in God's world.

So true. Everything is created by God, therefore, everything is worthy of a chance. No matter how annoying they may be.

I am risking being too nagative, but isn't it possible that a lot of those things were created as curses? Not all that God has done was for blessings.

I think you may be right...
Original sin appears to have brought us much more than just death. It also brought misery and suffering...

Hmmm. Ok...maybe you're right: that they deserve a chance. So from now on I am granting the 'skeeters and other bugs 2-milliseconds time to leave, if they should accidently land or crawl on me. After that respectful pause, they will then find out what it means to get slapped silly by a being 1,000,000 times bigger and heavier than them...
(kind of like the Garlfield cartoon, where he smacks the spider)

Actually, the devil hatched cockroaches AND their water-bug cousins sometime after the flood (along w/mosquitos) . I think it's written in one of the 'lost gospels' found in the salt lakes of Utah, (salt lake scrolls )

I disagree. I'm a christian but I think some things may be here as a result of sin (or the curse). Take parasites of any kind for example. What do they contribute? Nothing, they just take and make creatures sick. I'm sure there are othe organisms but that's all I can think of now.
