This morning I asked myself this question...what will I do this year? I went through the Bible last year using "The Daily Walk Bible" NLT. (Loved it!) But sometimes I felt like I wasn't getting as much out of it as I should, because some days there was just so much to read. I thought about going through a Devotional this year, but also want to stay in the Word everyday. I also thought about going through the Book of James in my NASB Inductive Study Bible.

So what will some of you be doing? As for myself, I'll be praying for the Lord to lead me and see what He wants me to do.

God bless and Happy New Year to all of you!

I am going to try and grow each day in the Word. And take the time to take the scripture in and reflect on it.

I want to spend more time in the word. I try to witness when I can but will pray that especially while I am riding my scooter that I meet people to talk with.
I want to continue to spend time with my wonderful grand babies!! I'm blessed to have my dad who will be 88 in Januray, healthy and happy and wise.
I want to be a doer of the Word.
I want to try to be more giving to my husband even though he seems not to care about me...

Well Carmac.... This year I'm going to just rest and trust He will lead me as He has done every year.
I have the Oswald Chambers devotional books, about three of them, each one is different and each year I've read through each one and journal.
It is so cool to look back, way back.... when I first started with especially "Utmost for His Highest" and where He has brought me spiritually today! And am still using the very first one!
Also through my church we have a daily devotional book. Plus our Sunday school study book we get quarterly.
So through all those I trust the Lord will bring some good and interesting things to learn across my path.... so much still to learn and grow in!!
Our spiritual walk truly is a life time of school!

I've been thinking about this. Praying. The Lord is working in my life...leading me and mine somewhere. So this year I am waiting...reading...praying...

Now that the Lord has both of my parnets in Heaven with Him, I can rest in peace, knowing that I and my family, don't have to worry about there health and welfare anymore.

My plans are being more faithful in reading The Bible and learning more about God and getting ready for whatever He puts in my path. After, 3 years of worrying about my parnets, this has just got to be easier!!

Then, again maybe NOT!!!
