Matthew 13:24-30 (King James Version)
24Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

The Man is our Father
The original seed is the Son, which has died and brought forth many more seed.
The kingdom is the earth
The enemy is satan of course
The tares are the sins of the people
The servants are the those Elect who serve their God, day and night
The reapers are the angelic host
At least it is how I see it.

So there is a time of harvest. I believe He was pointing to that, in this parable.
We labor here, with much unseen...we do not know, everything. We know the Lord is our salvation. There are other things, that only He can tell us. And so we labor, and later on, in His time, there is a harvest. The Lord's timing.
Some that is harvested, will be culled.
But the harvest is the Lord's.

Everything is in the Lord's timing. Everything. For me, this is another telling of not to judge. Only the Lord can know someone so completely.

^Yes. In order to properly judge, one would need all the evidence, and all the information. It is impossible, to make a right judgement, if you do not have access to all you need, to make said decision. I learned a long time ago, not to judge; because no one knows what goes on, behind closed doors.
Someone who appears righteous, someone who attends church every time the doors are open, can be the devil at home.
No one knows, what any other person, has suffered, or is suffering.

The man represents God
The servants represents Christian workers.
The crop represents a new Christian.
Each new Christian has been sown with good seeds (infilling of the holy spirit and a desire to do good), but each new Christian has also been sown with bad seed (a sinful nature and a desire to self indulge). However, when the Christian worker attempts to rid the new Christian of all the bad seed (sinful nature) he often damages the good seed (the infilling of the spirit). It is better to allow both to grow to maturity and then, when the harvest is made (the Christian is called home) GOD will separate the good and worthwhile from the sins (that is why Jesus came, right?)......the sins will be cast away, and the Christian will be brought into the house of the man (heaven).
All of us, as Christians, have both good seed and bad seed in our makeup. but if you attack a new Christian, to rid them of what you perceive as their sins, you can actually damage their spiritual growth. What has to be done is cherish and encourage the good seed and allow God to deal with that which is bad.
