Well, I'm sure the Jews and the Muslims are going to be relieved to hear this because they definitely recognize a Higher Power and they would describe Him as the same God who created the universe and placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

So if they aren't the same thing, do you believe that it's only necessary to believe in God to be saved or that a person must also accept Jesus Christ? (I'm getting back to the point that Jews and Muslims also believe in the God of Abraham, but don't accept Christ as God's Only Begotten Son.)

I believe what I said in an earlier post, God said He provided a way for EVERYONE to know. He is a just fair God and I trust Him to judge everyone fairly.

I was going back through my studies this morning and came across this message from Jesus. This is only a quote from it but it shows what the second coming is. So all repenters can repent now or after.

When my Kingdom comes on the earth I will reign in the hearts of men, not as a ruler or as a sovereign lord, but as a Prince of Peace, the only son of the Father who was born without sin, and all mankind will worship God in spirit and in truth. War shall be no more and swords shall be turned into pruning hooks and plowshares, and men shall know what peace and love for one another are.
My second coming will be as the still small voice that speaks to every man and tells him that Love is the only thing that is necessary for him to have, and when he gets that in his soul all the sins and hatred and desires for evil will pass away.

But there is also a difference in "knowing you have a Savior in Jesus Christ". All those who claim the Christian title don't believe the same thing. There are two basic plans of salvation offered, but only one will be accepted. And it boils down to this...the Bible.

Does the Bible teach...the only scource of the truth, that all that is needed for salvation is in it, salvation by faith not by observing the law, Jesus is God?

If your answer is no, then

Plan A: Jesus is your example, you try to please God by observing the law

if your answer is yes, then

Plan B: Jesus is your subsitute, you please God by faith, not by observing the law
........: the law is used as a mirror, that perfection is not a goal but demanded, and we fail to meet that standard.

Plan B is the only plan that saves, it is a very narrow road, but it has been the only path acceptable to God since Adam and Eve's fall into sin.

Do you not have faith? Does everything in this world have to be proven through the bible? God did not put us here on earth to live and breathe the bible. Have faith in Love, in the bortherhood of man, that God is your Father. Stop relying on the bible to tell you how to talk.

That passage is nowhere in the bible. Sorry, but you knew that already.
