Why are so many Christians up tight and walking a fine line when it comes to sin when the bible says that Jesus forgave a Murderer who was on the cross next to him as he was being crucified? Doesn't that tell you that you can sin all you want provided you are truly sorry for it later?

There is a difference of living a lifestyle of sin as opposed to falling into sin. Jesus told the woman who was about to be stoned, "Go and sin no more" Jesus said, if we keep on sinning then we are of our father, the devil. Sinning is equivalent to spitting at the foot of the cross. Why would you want to do that?

Sis is sin and there are plenty of lists withint the scriptures of what is sin so their is no confusion.
I don't believe scripture ever says a murderer was crucified with Jesus. They were both thieves.

Jesus forgives murderers and thieves today, but that doesn't mean that they are to continue in sin. A true believer turns away from a life of sin and seeks to please the One who gave His life for him or her. Jesus came to set us free from the slavery to sin.
Galatians 5:24 "Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit."
