Well, I always liked surprises and never (well not often) peeped into a wrapped Christmas present with my name on it..So I look forward patiently and with not much speculation into the wondrous things that Christ said He was going away to prepare for us..

No, God is in my heart now, but in this world I am completely incapable of experiencing heaven due to the evil in the world around me, and my human limitations. In heaven our eyes will be fully opened to all God's gloryand there will be a complete absence of evil. Right now, I delight in the Lord and know He's given me as much of a glimpse as I can truly understand here and now. To answer the OP question, Absence of God=hell, so NO!!

I'd like to know more about heaven, if there is one. Is it a people heaven only and, if so, male or female or some kind of neuter. Are there dogs, cats, horses, snakes, spiders or do they all have a separate heaven and if so why?
I'm considering taking a trip there in the not too distant future. Do I need reservations - I like a room with a view.
