Again I do not wish to create another homosexual thread. The focus is on marriage and the many examples shared within the Bible. What is and isnt condoned by God? What happens when someone does something others than defines marriage? What problems have occured for those recorded within the Bible who have chosen to redefine marriage?

Please remember this is not a gay thread.

People misunderstand about the submission concept. It does not mean become a door mat. Both husband and wife are called to submit to each other. It is rarely a problem when both have a strong relationship with the Lord and where each is concerned about the happiness of the other. I am so blessed to be married to a Christian man who loves me the way the Bible says a man is to love his wife.

Okay but which ones are endorsed by God or were the others merely mans attempt to have things his way rather than Gods?

Robin, do you believe a non-religious marriage is considered a valid marriage?

Was just outlining them in case anybody coming into the thread wondered "gosh.. what is he talking about".

But your question is interesting.

Does an endorsement (whatever someone thinks the endorsement is) make other types excluded?

I think thats the question that should be answered.

Carry on.

Yeah, I'm still popping in from time to time to check. I'll be hanging it up in a little bit to go watch Amazing Race. Perhaps I'll come back in later to find an answer.

Sorry, I have been busy today, had several papers to write. The non-religious marriages are still a legal covenant between two people and carry alot of Godly influence even if the participants deny God.
