Matthew 18:19-20
"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

The Bible says that " if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

Does this mean that SINGLES are disadvantaged. What if they don't have life partners or not many friends and pray alone, especially about things that are confidential and do not wish to share with anyone. Sure, there are other scriptures in the Bible about prayers where it does not state that they have to necessarily pray with someone. But still, based on this verse from Matthew 18, does it mean that where only ONE person prays, God is not with us?

Answer to the last question is emphatically no,
If that were the case then most of prayers throughout the bible would
have never been answered.. The prophets prayed alone..
David prayed alone....
Just my $.02
God Bless You

It doesn't mean God isn't with them, not at all. I think it does mean prayer is more effective when 2 or 3 are praying in agreement for something.

On this topic of singles, when I was single I remember thinking it was tougher going as a Christian. Here's another scripture to think about:

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

9Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
10For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
