Son 7:6-12 says, "How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights! This thy stature is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts to clusters of grapes. I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples; And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goeth down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak. I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me. Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages. Let us get up early to the vineyards ; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves."
How many think this erotic passage suggests the rapture will come on the Feast of Grapes?
got some news for ya. It's not just the Israelites that DON"T have a rapture. The rapture doctrine is a figment of a little girls imagination that the church got ahold of and ran with it. Problem is some christians that believe it never read back to verses 13 in Thesselonians, they just read 16 and get it all wrong. Paul admonished you NOT to be ignorant like the heathen, but you didn't read it all........oh well....there will be NO flying away for you sorry.........Messiah comes AFTER the tribulation....go back and read it right.....
Who thinks that it does, thrillobyte? Did someone actually say that?
MJ Agee, God bless her sweet soul, one of the greatest of the great date-setters. First wrote Exit 2007 in 1997 predicting the rapture would happen in 1998. Innumerable bad calls since then; latest failed date last Pentecost. She takes it all in stride. Her literature makes dozens of references to Song of Solomon being a type of the rapture where Jesus takes His Bride away:

My afterthoughts, Re: the time of firstripe grapes
"Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, [whether] the tender grape appear, [and] the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves."(Song of Solomon 7:12)
Mic 7:1,2 says, "Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit. The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.
Son 2:10-17 says, "My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely. Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes. My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies. Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.

I truly don't mean to be mean, it's just I get terrified of the harm she does to the Body of Christ!

May God bless you and yours. I sure pray I have Ed with me at the Rapture. I want to be with him forever. When he was in service, he prayed for a Christian wife. I lived in another state, so God had to do a lot to get us together, but he picked out the right one for both of us, and we knew it right away when we met. Agape
You see, Ed, her husband has been suffering with CHF for years and Ms. Agee is just hanging on by her fingernails hoping the rapture comes before he's parted from her. It's so heartbreaking. I know when Ed passes w/o the rapture she will crumble (thank God she has children to look after her) She is the only pre-trib author I know of who didn't make a nickle on her book, Exit 2007 as she was so excited to get the message out of a 1998 rapture that she virtually gave away every penny of her royalty rights for the sake of getting her theories into print. As I said, God bless her. Wrong as can be about the rapture, but the sweetest of ladies.
