No, I'm not having a bad day I've just seen some "stuff" that people have written on here and I know it's not true. The best advice that I can give to anyone is read the Bible everyday, repent, and believe in Jesus. The Bible holds so many wonderful things we can't imagine them all. Did you know that the evil King Manasseh was led away to Babylon and sought the Lord in his distress. He prayed and God let him return to Jerusalem. (2 Chronicles 33)
In (1 Chronicles 20) you can read about David and his men who killed the descendants of the giants of Gath. Did you know that Goliath had a brother named Lahmi? Eve didn't eat an apple, she ate fruit. Did you know that Moses asked to be blotted out of the Book of Life to save the people? All of this is in the Bible. We have a book that is a wonderful treasure of knowldege. Read it and find wisdom and life. Want all to go well in your life, read the Bible and obey it's words. It's there to keep us out of trouble. It's there to encourage us in times of need. It gives great advice. It helps us grow in Christ. People read it and believe it and believe in Christ. David delighted in it and said it gave him hope. Jeremiah said that God's word sustained him, brought him great joy and was his heart's delight. Get that Good Book out and read it. Encourage others to read it too. Parents, read it to your children. God thought of everything and it's all in this great book.
My husband rejects God and it hurts me, but the Holy Spirit showed me scripture in Isaiah that gave me hope. Delight in his word, open your ears and listen. Be one of the virgins with your lamp full of oil, BE READY! Read God's word everyday and learn something new!

Did she literally eat a fruit that gave her knowledge of good and evil?

God doesn`t promise us a life where all goes well. Actually the exact opposite. We are living in a world that is at emnity with God. Few people in the bible that followed God or Jesus lived an earthly life where all went well. Most had ,what we would call in our society, a very rough life. A lot of them met with terrible deaths

Pray for him daily, as my mother did for my father, and he came to Christ on his death bed. It works dear sister!
