Cheerleaders at a north Georgia high school will have to fall back on school spirit alone to inspire the football team tonight against a longtime rival because the school district will no longer allow them to hold up signs bearing Bible verses.

The Catoosa school district banned the signs over concerns they were unconstitutional and could provoke a lawsuit, the Associated Press reports.

It's a shame that an entire community is effected by only one complaint.

This story is another shining example of just how whack certain godless people can be.

It's a shame.

On a brighter note, it gave me hope when I saw how many people supported this practice and how much it upset the majority of the town. Maybe we can take this country back one day.....maybe.

Ya'll always say this stuff but I know full well that you'd be on the other side if it was a bunch of Islamics with their Muslim verses being displayed.

I totally think the best way to spread God's love..

is a girl.. in a mini-skirt..

makes total sense

I got an idea.. if the town is SOOO concerned about it.. raise private funds from ALLLL the citizens.. and setup a private school..

problem solved.

Unless he were a teacher or student of that school attending the game.
